At Cruising Altitude started with a little boy’s love of airplanes.

Our founder, Mani, was an avid aviation enthusiast. Born in 1995, he took his first commercial flight when he was only a few months old and it was love at first sight. He first began making videos of his travels, and more specifically the airplanes he journeyed on when his parents bought him a small digital camera at the age of eight. Before trip reports and airline reviews were a thing, he would record footage of meals, safety videos, and everything else he experienced on his numerous flights, sharing them with his family and friends.

In 2017, he started his YouTube channel, At Cruising Altitude, in hopes of sharing his passion for aviation travel with those of like mind. Although he did share some of his aviation adventures on his channel, he tragically passed away in 2022.

Now, as his family, we aim to continue his legacy. Enter Mission Mani, projects that we start in order to preserve his legacy. His YouTube channel will remain active and will remain true to Mani’s vision. As we travel, we will share our journeys on his channel and continue to share the aviation aspect of our travels. Over time, we hope to use the revenue made from Mission Mani projects, his channel, sales from his luggage brand, etc. to set-up a foundation in Mani’s honor.
